The new airlines system disable students from getting the extra 10kgs that they normally do. Me being persistent, pushed my way to it and managed to got the excess baggage weight in the end. After getting that settled, confirmation for this friday's flight is today(28/9/08).
All this while i thought that the British high com will be open regardless of raya because they follow the British hols only, but i was WRONG! It takes 8-10days to get your visa done (minimum by the way). Due to the holidays on wed and thurs, my 10th working day is on friday! ARgh! How to fly on fri if its only the 10th day? So, i'll be visiting the visa place to asked them when it will be out tentatively. If its not out by latest tuesday, I will change my flight date again! Oh lord, please shower ur mercy over me!
Feeling quite stressed because not only im affected by my own flight, but my family members and aunt as well. Tough trying to coordinate with everyone! *feels like bursting*

Farewell!

Event : Farewell? Lolz.
Jiiny decide to call for a farewell before she leaves for miri and head straight to the uk. Its been a really long time since all of us hung out that way. The dinner consisting of 8 people, 4 guys and 4 girls (minus Nyat!)
Had a good time catching up with each other, checking out chicks (the guys lar!ish..haha) ,teasing fei, talking to fira abt 1,2,3....(many to come?haha joking lar!)
If im not mistaken.. we took 6 goodbyes and 10mins after standing up from out seat saying goodbye.. It is indeed sad. Going to miss you bunch of people so much. No more card sessions :( No more extra long self-declared breaks! No more studying in starbucks! :( Do keep in touch with us k? Take care guys! :)

Waiting....
The past two days had been complete torture to my body. Had 3 hours of sleep in 2 days. Had 2 meals in 2 days, drank less than 2 glasses of water per day. Why? This is due to my visa application. Due to stories i've heard which freaked me out a little, I had to make sure everything is complete. Was supposed to get it done on Wed, unfortunately I am required to do a english translation for those documents in Malay( 8 in total!). Took the entire wednesday to translate the stupid documents. Why can they use simple terms for contribution in Malay instead of CARUMAN! ish...
Apart getting that ready, had to go to the lawyer's office to certify my certs. The day before that, I ran around like a mad fool to every bank to certify my bank statements. After that was done, proceeded for medic check up. Thank god everything went okay.
Had no accommodations before this as well. Thank God and aunt for helping me through. Its a twin sharing, i pray that my roomie will be a good one! ( Oh lord, i trust u) Just paid the acceptance fees today to booked the room. Got the extension from uni to commence on the 6th of oct instead of this coming sat.
Hectic!!! Did my visa today. The stupid officer forgotten to hand in my file to the biometric department so i waited for almost 2 hours. Ish! Thank god i manage to complete the whole thing by 11am.
I am really thankful to God for everything He has helped me with from getting an offer, getting approval from uk for the financial status, getting accommodation and now waiting for visa.
If all is settled, will be flying off on the 3rd of october!
*shall take this time to gain all the sleep I had lost! * ;)

Confirmation Received!
Judging from my past post, I was waiting for confirmation. Finally, it has all been settled. Now the tough part, VISA! yikes!
The UK visa seems way harder to get compared to the australian visa. BAh... I am scheduled to leave on the 26th of september because I am scheduled to start on the 29th of september after requestion for extension for an entire week. I am currently in Vietnam(visiting family - yes i am awared its during the wrong time!),will be back on tuesday afternoon. Gotta do my medic check up + x ray. Settle documents for visa on wed and pray that my visa will be done successfully by the following tuesday so I can fly off on friday morning, 10.15am :)
Currently, just bought 2 winter jackets. 1 Blue in color - looks slightly like an eskimo jacket and 1 brown - autumn/winter classy looking kind. Got 2 gym pants to wear. Gotta get 2 long sleeves top( i have none! hahaha) and thinking if i should get another jacket... Hmmm...
Well, if all goes smoothly, I will be flying off on the 26th September 10.15am XD

Awaiting Confirmation!
Results are finally out. Awaiting confirmation. Hurry up ucas!!!! Deadline approaching!
If I am required to leave, I have to be there on the 20th of September (doubt i will make it on time, so emailed the dude) Nice dude, he told me not to worry, just get my paper work done. :)
I should be tentatively be leaving by the 28th of sept once everything is confirm and visa settled. Oh ya, not forgeting, I'm supposed to be checking flight details.Yikes! So last minute! :(
