Crazy week!

Its not even a full week yet and its been so hectic. Assignment due date was today(31/10) and smart me thought since its not counted but still have to do, no need start so early lar. SO started it on monday because my crazy friends scared me that due date was tuesday.

Took me 2 hours to finish half of the first question and another 2 hours to finish the rest and the 2nd question leaving the 3rd and 4th for the last night. Due to my extreme last minute planning, i ended up sleeping at 4am with having full classes till 5.30 the next day. I look like a zombie today whose eyes cant be open. I slept from 8-9.30 outside the classrooms with tables and chairs on level 2.

Hectic! So glad its over! Supposed to have stats test tmr. STill thinking if should sit for it! The conned artist seems to be filled with extreme guilt that he look like he was haunted or something. Oh well. Not my problem. I hate dishonest people and especially those who talk big about not doing soemthing but rather behind our backs they are...(how stupid they think we are? my math not that cham k?)

LALALLA. Feel like screaming,punching,shouting er..talking crap at the same time. WEird hor?hehehe...

What a name for a title?Well, its the exact thing that's been going on around us(or rather around me lar!) Technically, if you go to a shop, the sellers want to make profit. In order to make profit, they would have to charge a price slightly higher then their total cost price. How high is dependent on what kind of market and competition its facing. If its perfect competition, then the price is set by the market value. Any higher charge by the sellers, they will make a lost. Hence they have to set the prices according to the MV. For other kinds of competition, some sellers might conned us by charging extra. Goodness, that's exactly how conned i feel each week or rather day when i stepped my foot in college. Why so?

Situation : Photocopying notes

Disatisfaction : Paying too much!

- I remember clearly in a levels...When we photocopy something real thick, it will never cost more than rm20 unless we are photostating the whole physics revision book in the library eg. Nelcon parker. I paid rm30 to get my frankwood photostated (consist of 400+ pages!) Well, what's classes without revising pastyears right? Accounting pastyears are alot but we are only required to photocopy half of that stack. Voluntarily someone wanted/eager on photocopying it for all of us.

Total number of pages : 193

How many printed : 150-160

How many cheap quality color paper : 8

How good is the binding : max price for comb binding is rm2.50(checked already from this expensive shop)

HOw good is the whole thing : Horrid cover- cheap low quality cover(rain splash..whole book die!)

knowing the photocopy shops...they normally give you a hard cover at the back(but this : NOOOO!)

Price : rm 22

My opinion :

1. 1 sheet should maxly cost rm0.10 (most expensive for photocopying - generally)

2. If so, 160 x rm0.10 = rm16.00 - k lar..not so kiam, i take 193 lar....rm0.10 x 193 = rm19.30

3. photocoping in large amount (more than 3000 pgs) should cost cheaper aka rm0.04-rmo.o5 per sheet(you guys who photocopy stuff know that right?Stef,ber?)

4. Where the extra money go? Are we paying for the person expenses? Is it right to charged us overpricely?

5. I asked for receipt as proof of purchase and payment - person : 'I think i lost it..or i duno where it went'(voice being all shaky,avoiding eye contact) - twice d.

How lar? I am so not rich okay! DAd is holding off my allowance saying i spend too much. I skip meals to save cash for next time hence paying the money sucking idiot! How to survive?

6. Idiot complaints whenever he has to photocopy notes(who ask you to volunteer?No one! ONly you yourself kpc!Tai seh!)

COnclusion : Im being daylight robbed! HELP me!

I seriously spend an average of rm20 on photocopying notes(all subjects included - minor few pages per subject, major : per subject)

My idea : Leave the notes in E&C with a code, Everyone collect themselves!(volunteer dont want, everyone agreed d....wtv man!)

ACtually there is...Our 'dear,beloved' HELP finally decided to upgrade thenselves..or rather their library. Man it took them that long to figure it out?SLow wei....



Obviously as a College/University college, our library needs to be equip with good computers,books,suitable environment etc...

So, mr library uncle who recognises me,stef and ber last time asked me to hold all my books first while they upgrade the library. From written cards and stamping the dates to beep beep, barcode scanner sound. Its turning more like taylors library except that we dont have to scan our cards to enter.

TO me, my opinion was, FINALLY we can use our student id! If you guys notice, there is this barcode thing but we dont use it at all right? now we do!!!! Cool eh? I was really amaze that i got so high in class that day yelling beep beep beep!hahaha(typical me eh?)

Wanted to upload pictures but due to bad internet connection, i cant load and now when im stealing my neighbour wireless(cuz mine is stupid!) my phone died so instead of repairing it, dad said we should get a new phone, he dumped me with this nice looking phone which has a 2mp cam but damn lousy and hard to type keypad! I want a 5mp cam phone! GOsh i need a job!!!! Birthday coming also...hehehe...Hint hint! ahhaha..jking!

Been eating really nice food since dad is back. ATe crab today!hehhee.Yummilicious! :)
I've been craving for egg tarts so ya...been eating that everyday! Then my friends made muffins to be sold for charity, so cute but if eat too much can go gila! A little sweet! but nice! :)

My dear beloved commie just chooses to die few days before the arrival of mr lappie! Thank god for lappie. I would have died not being able to go online. FRiday night was miserable ok?No internet. There was only mr tv which is stupid too. My astro forever no secure signal lar..those crap!(at times i dont know why we even bother paying them!)

This week been really hectic a little. Had my math test. Quite assured i got all the graphs wrong. Not enough time and i forgot. Got one ques lar..draw graph without working out anything...MEans look must can draw d...I FORGOT!!!!!then...THe inverse function one should be correct lar..the differentiation one hmm...duno the supply demand that one is correct lar! wrong i kill myself! Oh damn...just realise i dint label the graphs!Gone ..... Apart from that, it was okay lar to me. I did work hard for it k?Though i felt like giving us last minute because malas d...hehe

Been slightly emotional bit this week. I cant really tell why. Its not what you guys think k? DOnt assume u know me so well..hoho! Hmm..its hard to explain. Its like im not angry or frustrated or something or even sad. I am not. Its just a feeling of discomfort,wanting to talk to someone perhaps?But thing is, i dont even know what is bugging me but i just feel bugged. Been reading the bible(trying to make it a daily thing!so far so good) STill trying to figure whats the thing that makes me feel so discomfort about. sighz. Horrid feeling! blargh!

I would say the price is reasonable for buffet. ALl you can eat! Try it out!

I think im quite cheerful most of the time now. hoho! QUite high!!! hmmm...im trying to stop/tone down from cha-ing that dude and any other dude(if got). Not good lar..and last time i not like that..duwan to change to become bad. Ooh..i think me and ms F now is like almost bestfriends. I see her every morning. Hmph........Uni life!

Gosh if you people out there think uni life is easy? Its so NOT i tell you. Some people thought that when you change from science to arts , its supposed to be a lighter load kinda thing. Guess what???? I DONT FEEL IT! Smart me go do the UOL course that requires constant studying. There are no internal evaluations and stuff. Its all external. STudy study study!

The passing mark to me is SUPER LOW, yet there are people failing! ARgh....Simple maths we learnt in form 4-5, a levels is kacang compared to what we are doing now. Normal simple functions also turn complicated. Everything needs explanation! Mafan-ness!

Just suddenly feel a sudden emotional breakdown or rather overload of stress after what mom constantly nags. THis time it hit me quite. It seem like as though she was calling me stupid(SEEM!) I know im not that smart but i AM NOT DEFINITELY STUPID! I just realise that my so call 'must trash person' is actually completing stats , accounts and doing extra econs homework. DArn it!!!! I think the person takes tuition too! NOOOOOOOOOO...Jacq must work hard for herself and must also beat that person for her own pride sake! (i dont like being look down upon!*person lar!think i dumb!*)

Stress!!!!!Test this friday! Though its not important but i want to test myself , want to see how far i can go with what i am doing. Hope i wil do well! Kinda made a promise to my lecturer too. (ok lar.it was a forced promised!)

Just got back from nephew's birthday celebration. Super dead tired. Contemplating if i should stay late in college tomorrow to study or go home! Any suggestions?Opinions? I finish at 1pm. If i stay back it wil be till 6pm. Hmmm...Tough decision!

The lesson i learnt this morning!

Today is the start of my extremely short 'holiday'. After a rough night yesterday or rather early this morning due to the fact i was anxiously waiting for someone who stood me up without any replies!blargh! I understand the situation and stuff but hey, i'm still human right? And what would you feel if u continuously wait for something that stood you up without any form of decent excuse or reasoning or rather informing you about it? blargh...Nevermind lar...Now i forbid to talk or complain about this to my friends because they are all so tired of hearing me each and everyday(they claim lar...i probably do it subconciously) SO now i will just eat it up all to myself and one fine day, KABOOM!



Anyhow, i was quite suprise i managed to wake up as early as 9.30 minusing the fact that i slept close to 6am. WEnt to church ON TIME! Had worship practise. One thing i like about today's 'devotion' was IT WAS DIFFERENT!! Instead of sitting around in circles and reading the bible,listening to the leader or rather a round of prayer before we start each practise...TOday we did a little role playing. It started off like this,



G man : worship leader

Ruth : pastor?

Me : Usher/musician?

Eel : worship coordinator

Wei zian : best-est worship leader

Rachel tan : friend of G-man



Situation : Our dream church(everything perfect and stuff)



It had a kick start when G-man asked me to come up front(at that point i was still stonning :p) He said hi, i replied, HI! Cheerful me! ahaha.. He heard from a friend rachel that this church was the bomb!!! So he wanted to test it out because he felt uncomfortable in his church and LONELY! He was talking about how awesome pastor ruth was and how great of a worship leader WZ was and wanted to meet them. Cheerful me said okay...intro intro bla bla...THen they talked(here comes the serious part)



He was so curious about our church and he wanted to know if we were like the rest of the churches who go around saying ' you can talk to me if u need a ear to listen but then sticking to their own clicks' Being me, i said ' dont worry, we will try to listen to you and im sure you will fit in, just give it a try' My phrase was back out by the rest of the crew. AFter going on and on for about 15minutes? We ended with this conclusion :



- Apart from being musicians,worship leaders,PA dudes, Projectionist, we are also call to socialize with people and make them feel welcome!(we dont expect someone to come to you saying he/she is new- it supposed to be you going up to them and making friends)



- Worship is our intimate relationship with GOd. The music is nothing! SEriously! The heart must be there!!!!



- The closeness of the team is really important because the congregation wouldnt want to see a team who is so splited and in their own worlds would they? WE are up there leading the people to worship. Like daniel(the keyboardist,forgot his surname) said, we are going up there to worship God, we should give it our very best! No such thing as being late, not practising and etc....



Another thing i felt today was that, although it was merely a practise. I really felt that i could worship Him and that everything else didnt matter. I know we should try our best to make it perfect but even with flaws once awhile,who cares! Set our burdens to Him and he will grant us peace! Im really thankful to be on this week. I manage to remind myself the true meaning of worship(you know lar,everyone needs to be reminded once awhile!)
